Yoga and Transformation for us is a very clear and specific way of being present, honest, and in love with our own lives. Our very way of being in the world becomes our practice and our offering. Using "The Work of Byron Katie", we will acknowledge, question, and experience freedom around our beliefs about our partners, our parents, and God. Ultimately, the insights gained from trusting the process of inquiry lead us into deeper compassion for ourselves and for all beings. We get clear instructions for being more present, honest, and in love with our lives. The beautiful thing is that no one imposes these guidelines upon us - each of us uncovers our truth for ourself. The experiences of this weekend uncover the innate ability in you to live with deeper clarity, love, compassion, success, and purpose.
During each session, there will be a period of yoga asana (yoga postures) for opening the body & heart, softening our judgements, and integrating the insights from the Work into our bodies. Old emotions and patterns get stuck in the cells of our bodies. Through movement, breath, visualization, and paying attention, we can often get profound insights and receive healing.

"Judge your neighbor, write it down, ask four questions, and turn it around." What exactly is the Work of Byron Katie? How did this practice come into being? How has it transformed the lives of Margot and Kassandra?
Come to this free event and find out for yourself what The Work is and how it can be applied by you to real situations in your life. Following a brief introduction of The Work, we will get right down to business, inviting you to put your stressful thoughts on paper and facilitating the process of questioning them. We strongly believe that money should not prevent self-discovery, so for this evening, we’ve taken money out of the equation. Will you take the next brave step to meet us and question your stressful thoughts? Be careful, you may just find more freedom and power than you've been told you're allowed to live with. And then what will you tell all the people who said life should be hard and painful? We will each have a chance to watch The Work facilitated, to be facilitated, and to be a facilitator.
"He should tell me he loves me". "She shouldn't have had an affair". "He should take out the trash". "I need my partner to . . . and then I'll be happy". Does any of this sound familiar? Have you ever wished your romantic partner was other than how they are? Whether you are currently in partnership or not, "The Work on Relationship" is a time of revelation and freedom. This is not just about telling you you should love your partner just as they are and that if you're unhappy then you need to change. No one is going to preach to you. You will discover your own answers, your own insights, your own truth. We will each have a chance to watch The Work facilitated, to be facilitated, and to be a facilitator.
"My mother tries to control my life". "My dad was never there for me". "They abused me". "When will they realize I'm an adult and trust me"? How many times have we wished our parent's would see us differently, believe in us, trust us to live our own lives? How many times have we been angry, sad, bewildered, and depressed by times our parent's let us down, betrayed our trust, and weren't there to support us? Did you ever think your life would be better if only your parent's had done something else? Many of our fundamental beliefs about the safety and abundance of our world comes from our parents and childhood. Come see for yourself how beliefs about your past are constantly affecting your present and future, and what you can do about it. We will each have a chance to watch The Work facilitated, to be facilitated, and to be a facilitator.
God, the Universe, Abundant Issness...whatever your words or concept about the power that runs the universe, come judge your creator, write it down, ask four questions and turn it around. No issue, belief, or pain is so big or so small that it cannot benefit from inquiry. With compassion, humor, and insight we question and restructure our beliefs about our very existence. What a great way to spend Palm Sunday.
